Friday, July 1 2011 marked s the fourth anniversary of the day when the front doors of the church building were thrown open – symbolizing our identity as The Church That Never Closes. The celebration ran for seven days from Sunday June 26th through Sunday July 3rd.
Sunday, June 26
Reception of new members at the 10:30 a.m. service of worship and a Group photo of the congregation was taken.
Thursday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m.
Recommissioning of Servants of the Lord in the sanctuary.
Thursday, June 30 – Friday, July 1
27 hours of prayer in the sanctuary (began 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and ended at midnight on July 1.
Sunday, July 3
Reaffirmation of membership vows during the 10:30 a.m. service of worship.
Dedication of our new street sign following the morning service of worship.
Special prayer service at 5:00 p.m. |
