The Church That Never Closes is led by the consistory: minister, elders and deacons. They hold monthly meetings in order to worship together, encourage one another and make decisions on behalf of the congregation. Following each meeting a report is given to the congregation in the Sunday bulletin. Elders and deacons are elected by the membership and, in accordance with Reformed polity, are ordained upon election. There is parity (equality of authority) among the three offices.
